Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival in Arusha, meet your local representative and begin your Arusha city experience. Visit the Maasai Market, where you can discover traditional crafts, artwork, fabrics, and souvenirs. Continue to the Cultural Heritage Centre to explore Tanzania’s rich artistic and cultural history, followed by a visit to a local Arusha market to experience everyday life and local trading. You will also visit the Arusha Clock Tower, one of the city’s well-known landmarks. In the evening, meet your tour consultant for a safari briefing and introduction to your professional guide, who will accompany you throughout the safari.
After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, a beautiful destination offering a combination of forests, lakes, mountains, and wildlife. Begin with a guided walking experience, allowing you to explore nature from a different perspective and observe smaller wildlife and birds. Enjoy excellent bird-watching opportunities and beautiful views of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s secondhighest mountain. Later, continue with a game drive through the park, looking for giraffes, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, antelopes, monkeys, and other wildlife. Return to Arusha for the evening.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its magnificent baobab trees, large
elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park while searching for
elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and numerous bird species. The park’s
dramatic landscapes provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Later,
continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. As you enter
the Serengeti, start your game drive with a focus on big cats and other carnivores. Search for
lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and other predators while also enjoying encounters
with wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife. Your professional guide will follow wildlife
activity and share knowledge about animal behavior and the Serengeti ecosystem. Continue to
your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, focusing on the Great Wildebeest Migration and big
cats. Depending on the season and location of the herds, your guide will follow areas where large
numbers of wildebeest and zebras are concentrated. Along the way, search for lions, cheetahs,
and leopards, as well as other predators and herbivores. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness
before continuing your afternoon game drive. This flexible day allows you to spend more time
observing wildlife and enjoying the Serengeti landscape.
Today is dedicated entirely to following the Great Wildebeest Migration. After an early
breakfast, head into the Serengeti with your guide to search for the movement of wildebeest and
zebras. The exact location of the herds changes with the season, so your guide will use local
knowledge and current wildlife conditions to determine the best areas to explore. Along the way,
you may encounter predators following the herds, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other
carnivores. Enjoy another full day surrounded by the incredible scenery and wildlife of the
Serengeti.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before embarking on a half-day game drive in the Serengeti. Make the
most of your final hours in the park, searching for wildlife and enjoying the beautiful plains
before beginning your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. As you leave the Serengeti,
the landscape gradually changes from open savannah to the lush highlands surrounding
Ngorongoro. Arrive at your accommodation in the highlands, enjoy dinner, and relax in
preparation for the following day’s crater experience.
After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive.
The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, offering opportunities to see lions,
elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy
a picnic lunch surrounded by the dramatic volcanic scenery before ascending from the crater and
beginning your drive to Arusha. Arrive in the evening and relax.
After breakfast, begin your final Tanzanian experience with a local coffee tour. Learn how coffee is traditionally grown, harvested, processed, roasted, and prepared. Continue to Materuni Village, where you will enjoy a guided hike through lush landscapes to the beautiful Materuni Waterfall. Take time to enjoy the scenery, local environment, and, weather permitting, spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After completing your activities, drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. We recommend booking a late-evening flight from 7:00 PM onward, allowing enough time to enjoy the coffee tour, waterfall hike, and Kilimanjaro views without rushing.
