1. Booking and Payment Policy

  • All safari and travel services are subject to availability and are not confirmed until a deposit or full payment has been received.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, and the amount will be stated in the booking confirmation.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full before the safari start date as specified in the confirmed itinerary.

  • Client details including full names, passport numbers, dates of birth, and nationality must be provided at the time of booking and must match travel documents.

2. Tour Prices

  • All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are based on the confirmed itinerary and inclusions and are subject to change prior to payment confirmation.
  • Unless otherwise specified, safari prices include accommodation, park fees, transportation, professional guide services, meals as per itinerary, drinking water during safari, and scheduled activities.

3. Description of Services

  • Tour descriptions, accommodations, vehicles, and activities are provided in good faith based on current information.

  • Vehicle types and seating arrangements depend on group size and itinerary requirements.

  • Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed as animals roam freely in their natural environment.

  • Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours reserves the right to engage reputable third-party suppliers when necessary.

4. Booking Cancellation & Refund Terms

  • Cancellation by You (the Client)

    1. If you wish to cancel your holiday, you must notify Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours as soon as possible.

    2. Any cancellation made by telephone must be confirmed in writing or by email within 24 hours.

    3. The effective cancellation date is the day we receive your written confirmation.

    4. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the total tour price and apply as follows:

      • Cancellation received more than 30 days before the tour start date: 5% loss of deposit

      • Cancellation received less than 30 days before the tour start date: 15% of the total tour cost

      • Cancellation received less than 20 days before the tour start date: No refund for lodge safaris

      • Cancellation received less than 10 days before the tour start date: No refund for budget safaris


    Cancellation by Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours

    1. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the applicable cancellation charges if the outstanding balance is not paid by the agreed deadline.

    2. Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour up to 60 days prior to the scheduled start date.

    3. After this period, we will only cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control.

    4. In the event that we cancel your holiday, you will be offered one of the following options:

      • An alternative holiday of similar standard and price, subject to availability

      • An alternative holiday of a lower standard, with the price difference refunded

      • An alternative holiday of a higher standard, with the price difference payable by you

      • A full refund of all amounts paid

5. Changes & Amendments

  • Requests for changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational requirements.
  • Significant changes will be communicated promptly, with suitable alternatives offered where possible.

6. Force Majeure

  • Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, security issues, road closures, or airline schedule changes.

7. Liability

  • Participation in safari activities is at the client’s own risk.

  • Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours is not responsible for injury, loss, damage, or additional expenses incurred during the trip.

  • We are not liable for the actions or omissions of third-party service providers.

8. Travel Documents & Health

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring that all travel documents, visas, and health requirements are valid and up to date.
  • Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours is not liable for costs arising from incomplete or incorrect documentation.

9. Travel Insurance

  • All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, evacuation, personal accidents, and loss of belongings.

10. Conduct & Tour Authority

  • Safari guides and drivers are responsible for tour safety, and their decisions are final.
  • Glad Of Africa Safari & Tours reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client whose behavior affects safety or enjoyment, without refund.

11. Third-Party Services

  • All services provided by third parties, including accommodations and transport, are subject to their own terms and conditions.

  • Clients agree to be bound by these third-party terms when participating in the safari.
