The Park can be accessed by road or air.

Road. The park is 115 km from Arusha city to main gate via Makuyuni-Ngorongoro road.

Air. Can be accessed through scheduled flights to Manyara Airstrips.

Climate

Lake Manyara National Park has a subtropical climate with temperatures ranging from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year. The park experiences two distinct rainy seasons from March to May and November to December, and two dry seasons from June to October and January to February. The vegetation in the park is lush due to the consistent rainfall, providing a perfect habitat for a variety of animals.
