Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, you
will be met by our representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending
on your arrival time, you can relax and prepare for your safari. In the evening, meet your tour
consultant for a safari briefing and introduction to your professional safari guide.
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large
elephant herds, magnificent baobab trees, and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy a game drive through
the park, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and
many bird species. After your wildlife experience, continue toward the Karatu area for dinner
and overnight.
After breakfast, depart Karatu and drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enter the
Serengeti and begin your game drive with a focus on big cats and other carnivores. Search for
large prides of lions, cheetahs, and leopards, while also looking for hyenas and other predators.
Your guide will follow wildlife activity and help you understand animal behavior and the
Serengeti ecosystem. Continue to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend a full day following the Great Wildebeest Migration. After an early breakfast, head into
the Serengeti with your professional guide to search for large herds of wildebeest and zebras.
The location of the migration changes with the season, so your guide will follow the current
movement of the herds. Along the way, you may also encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and
other predators following the migration.
Continue exploring the Serengeti with another full day dedicated to migration moments. Follow
the herds as they move through the plains and enjoy the opportunity to witness natural wildlife
interactions. Depending on the season and location, you may experience large concentrations of
wildebeest and zebras, predator activity, and spectacular scenery. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the
wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti's incredible big cats. Spend the day searching for
lions, cheetahs, and leopards in areas known for predator activity. Your guide will carefully
follow wildlife behavior and look for opportunities to observe hunting, resting prides, or young
animals. The day also provides opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest,
zebras, and abundant birdlife.
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into
the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an extended game drive. Explore the crater floor and
search for the Big Five, with particular attention to spotting the endangered black rhino. The
crater also offers opportunities to see elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and
many other species. After your crater experience, ascend and drive to Arusha for your final
overnight.
After breakfast, begin your final Tanzanian experience with a local coffee tour. Learn how coffee
is grown, harvested, processed, roasted, and prepared using traditional methods. Continue to
Materuni Village for a guided hike through lush landscapes to the beautiful Materuni Waterfall.
After the hike, enjoy the surrounding scenery and, weather permitting, views of Mount
Kilimanjaro. Later, continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
