Begin your journey in Arusha, then explore the elephant-rich landscapes of Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and impressive wildlife density. Continue to the Western Serengeti (Gurumeti region), where tens of thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather as they prepare to cross the crocodile-inhabited Gurumeti River. Lions, hyenas, and cheetahs patrol the plains, creating intense predator-prey action.
The safari concludes in the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands, with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for close encounters with the Big Five in one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense environments.

Tour Plan
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. Meet your Italian-speaking guide and transfer to your lodge. Relax after your flight or enjoy a short city tour depending on your arrival time.
Overnight: Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its massive elephant herds and towering baobab trees, the park offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and diverse birdlife.

Overnight: Tarangire / Mto wa Mbu area
After breakfast, journey toward the Western Serengeti. Enjoy scenic stops and wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive in the Gurumeti region for an afternoon game drive, where migratory herds begin to gather near the river systems.
Overnight: Western Serengeti Lodge or Camp
Spend a full day exploring the Gurumeti River area. Witness one of the most dramatic phases of the Great Migration as wildebeest and zebras attempt river crossings while massive Nile crocodiles lie in wait.
Predators such as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs patrol nearby, creating intense wildlife encounters. Your Italian-speaking guide will share expert knowledge on migration timing, herd behavior, and predator strategies.
Overnight: Western Serengeti Lodge or Camp
After a final morning game drive, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about traditional culture.
Ascend to your lodge on the crater rim and enjoy panoramic views over the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Crater Rim Lodge
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife safari. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and abundant birdlife.
After your crater tour and picnic lunch, ascend and drive back to Arusha.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning or optional shopping in Arusha before your private transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
