Upon arrival in Arusha, you will meet our professional driver at the airport and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, you will have time to relax and prepare for your safari.
You will also meet our safari consultant for a detailed safari briefing and meet your professional safari guide, who will introduce you to the safari program and provide important information about the journey ahead.
Overnight: Arusha
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for your first wildlife experience. Enjoy a game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds, impressive baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
Your guide will search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, birds, and, with luck, predators such as lions and cheetahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing with your game drive.
Later, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Tarangire Area
After breakfast, depart toward the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu Area. The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you approach the heart of the February calving season.
Once you reach the Southern Serengeti, begin your game drive with a focus on following the Great Wildebeest Migration and searching for big cats. Look for large wildebeest herds, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife that gather around the migration.
Overnight: Southern Serengeti / Ndutu Area
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Ndutu Area during the spectacular calving season. Spend the full day following the migrating wildebeest herds and searching for newborn calves across the open plains.
February is an exciting time to observe the interaction between the young animals and the predators that follow the herds. Your guide will search for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife while giving you plenty of time for photography and wildlife observation.
Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the wilderness before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Ndutu Area
Enjoy another full day exploring the Ndutu Area, allowing you to experience the migration from different areas and follow the movement of the herds.
Your main focus today will be the Great Wildebeest Migration and big cats. Search for lions, cheetahs, and hyenas while following the wildebeest and observing their behavior during the calving season.
Having a second full day in Ndutu gives you more time to explore different areas and increases your opportunities for memorable wildlife moments.
Overnight: Ndutu Area
After an early breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater for an unforgettable wildlife experience. Explore the crater floor while searching for the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and, with luck, black rhinos.
You may also encounter hippos, zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, and many other species within this unique ecosystem.
After the crater game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to Arusha for your final overnight.

Enjoy your final morning in Arusha according to your flight schedule. Depending on the time of your departure, you may have time to relax, explore Arusha, or enjoy breakfast before your transfer.
We provide a complimentary airport drop-off according to your flight schedule to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK).
