Your safari begins with a scenic flight from Arusha or Zanzibar to the Northern Serengeti airstrip. Upon arrival, meet your professional safari guide and start your first exciting game drive.
This region is world-famous for the Great Migration river crossings (seasonal: July–October). Expect sightings of wildebeest herds, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and big cats while heading to camp.
Overnight: Northern Serengeti Lodge or Luxury Tented Camp
Spend the entire day exploring the Mara River ecosystem. Your guide positions the vehicle near crossing points where thousands of wildebeest gather before attempting the dramatic crossing.
Watch intense wildlife action as crocodiles wait in the river while lions, hyenas, and leopards follow the migrating herds. Guides track movements using experience and ranger communication to maximize crossing opportunities.

Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for exceptional game viewing. Possible sightings include the Big Five, rare black rhino, hippos, flamingos (seasonal), hyenas, and large lion prides.
After lunch, ascend the crater and return to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
