This secondary dry season offers warm and pleasant weather with minimal rainfall. It is an excellent time to combine Mount Meru hiking with classic northern Tanzania safaris, as conditions remain favorable both on the mountain and in nearby parks.
This period brings heavy rainfall, making trails muddy and slippery. Rivers may swell, and hiking conditions become more demanding.
