Tour Plan
Take a scenic flight from Zanzibar or Arusha to Northern Serengeti, where your professional safari guide meets you at the airstrip and begins a game drive immediately. Spend the afternoon exploring open plains and riverine areas with excellent chances to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and large herds of plains game. Overnight in Northern Serengeti.
Enjoy a full day of game drives around the Mara River, focusing on the Great Migration (seasonal). Track wildebeest and zebra herds near river crossing points, observe crocodiles and hippos, and watch predator activity along the riverbanks and surrounding plains. This is one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles in Africa.
After breakfast, depart Northern Serengeti with an en-route game drive toward Central Serengeti. Wildlife sightings continue across the vast plains. Upon arrival in the Seronera area, game drives focus on predator-rich zones around rivers and kopjes, home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and abundant resident wildlife.
